Beginning to Edit

I've been putting together a rough cut of the final film trailer with the clips gained from the 26th of January. During the editing I came across a small problem that my partner and I did not have enough footage, therefore on Friday 5th of February we both went to location to get some more footage. I think that the trailer is currently looking very authentic, and I am currently organising some music to accompany the trailer.
Whilst editing the all the shots to create my trailer I have had to think about all the conventions that make a horror film these could include:
-Murder
-Blood
-Gore
-Fast editing
-Loud music and non-diegetic sounds
-Darkness
-Ghosts
-Killer
-Murderer
-Old houses
- Death
-Screams
-Old houses
-Forests

We also need to look into finding some appropriate music to go with our trailer. So while editing our clips into place we shall also be creating music at the same time to ensure the music will fit when we need to add it in.
